For generations, our Sisters have walked alongside Sri Lanka's women, children, and communities, offering compassion, education, and hope wherever the need is greatest. Rooted in the charism of the Good Shepherd, we are dedicated to healing, dignity, and justice for all.
Founded in 1835 in Angers, France, by Saint Mary Euphrasia Pelletier, the Congregation is committed to embodying the reconciling and compassionate presence of Jesus the Good Shepherd in today's world. Through its ministry, it seeks to promote dignity, justice, reconciliation, and the fullness of life for all, especially those who are marginalized and vulnerable.
